We are sharing below our full recipe along with our favorite twists!
Ingredients
- bacon
- Breakfast sausage
- Maple syrup
- Shredded sharp cheese
- Eggs
- Can of rotel
- toothpicks
- Merkts spreadable sharp cheese
- Green onion
- Hot sauce
- Shot glass
Instructions
- Set your pellet grill to 450 degrees fahrenheit
- Light your smoke tube if you choose to use one
- Begin by prepping your “shot base” by
- Rolling out your breakfast sausage
- Using a shot glass to get the perfect width for the base
- Cutting your bacon strip in half
- Wrapping the bacon around the sausage to create a cup
- Toothpicking them in place
- Place the cups on a wire rack with a sheet tray underneath on your pellet grill for about 45 minutes
MITCH TIP: You will want your sausage to temp at 165 IT and your bacon to be at your desired crispiness
- While your bacon & sausage is on the pellet grill, scramble your eggs and mix in the rotel, set aside
Once your sausage is at temp and your bacon is as crispy as you’d like, bring the sheet tray back inside and start assembling your sEGGSy shots!
